Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress is best known for her performances as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the roles in the television film Nightingales and the NBC show of the same name (which ran for only a few episodes), Erica Paget on the CBS drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio in the show Psych. A native CalifornianSwanson developed an interest in acting when she was an infant. Her career began in the advertising industryappearing in a variety of commercials. She debuted on television in the NBCs It's Your Move sitcom episode that aired in 1984. The following year, in 1986's romance comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the big screen. Swan is most well-known for the blonde hairlisp and breathless voice that she employs. Recently, Swan has moved to performing in the role of secondary characters. Flowers in the Attic earned her the Young Artist Award in the Horror or Mystery Motion Picture category for 1989.
