April Lockhart
April Lockhart is a born on July 4th April, 1995. At the age of seven she started taking guitar lessons and piano lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm to write songs. April Lockhart composed her very first track, Different at age of twelve. At the age of 14, April devoted a great deal of her time writing song ideas and practicing her music. In the following months she would begin taking writing excursions along with her father, to LA or NY. She also started to write about other related topics for some of her friends dealing with things like social pressure and teenage suicide as depicted in the song"Take my Hand. Lockhart has her own following and is an online lifestyle blogger for the well-known Ilia clean beauty brand. The truth is that she was born with no left hand. This gives her a unique look. But this isn't the only thing about her. So, Lockhart's Instagram profile does not shy away from her disability, but it's not focused on it in any way. The message? There is more to us than the physical person we are. Our identities are intricate and encompass a variety of factors. It's not my intention to let that be the only thing that defines me. I don't want to be an influencer with a disability in the sense that I only talk about as there are different aspects to me Lockhart states in video form from her home in Nashville. My everyday life isn't dependent on it. I just live my normal, everyday life and find my own solutions to issues. However, it's a component of me and I feel it's essential to discuss. Self-acceptance runs for life but Lockhart is a true inspiration in this regard. She has experienced periods when she felt insecure about sporting certain clothes that revealed her arms. Now, though she dons what she's comfortable in and post photos of herself wearing those clothes to the internet with a sense of pride. It's all a process is the most important thing that I'm not sure when you will arrive, she says of self-love. It's a journey, I don't think you ever make it to the end. It's essential to have those around you who are aware of and appreciate you. They will be able to remind you about the issues you're concerned about.
