Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 on an Olympic celebration. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi later the Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was only six years old. Her first competitive event was The National Junior Championships which she finished 13th in 1969. In 1970, Comaneci took home the title. In her 1972 first international competition that was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for countries in the Communist bloc, she won 3 gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975, she won named the all-around Junior Champion. In 1975, she won four golds and one silver at her first senior international competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. She took home the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and was the first female in history to dismount the parallel bars with the double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She started her career as an entertainment professional during her teenage years in which she was a part of the figure skating duo of her twin sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a American citizen who was born on September 6, 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol began her career in the entertainment business in her teens. As a young girl, she began performing as an ice skater with Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. It featured dramatic ice-skating shows.
